Pricing Policies, Suppliers Settings and Adding products

Supplier Pricing Policy Settings

We will automatically create one default selling policy for you for each supplier you add within TronShop. These settings can be found in the “Price Policy Settings” or “Supplier Settings” section (unless you set a different selling policy). If you would like you can use this default selling policy, but we hardly recommend you review it and adjust to the desired values.

For all suppliers, categories, and products, you can start with only one preset default selling policy for all suppliers and refine your final selling policy later.

Your Own Pricing Policy Settings

If you need to set a different selling price policy for a particular category, brand, or product, there’s nothing easier. You can also create several different pricing policies with different rules to calculate automatically the selling prices from the purchase prices. Each pricing policy can then be assigned for the desired supplier, category or brand, or just a product directly in the settings of the desired supplier.

To add a pricing policy, select the appropriate section (Sale Prices or Purchase Prices) in the Pricing Policies subsection and add a new pricing policy at the bottom of the list of policies already added using the “+” button. For pricing policies, you can choose from the following options, which determine both the definition of the pricing policy and how it should behave:

Margin to purchase prices – the margin by which you increase your purchase prices

Discount from supplier catalog prices – based on your individual contract with the supplier.

Fixed sell prices

If you have your individual pricing (your own XML feeds) from the supplier, assign them to this pricing policy configuration (available in the options) and contact us for processing and activate them! (without this, the system will not generate your selling price and, to prevent damage, even all the supplier’s products will not be available).

Pricing Policy Levels Settings

After adding a new pricing policy, it is necessary to specify its individual levels and subsequently specify the price behavior for that level.

Click the “+ Add New” button to add a new level of pricing policy, set its limits, and use the “+” button in the row of the specific level to add quantity limits and a value that affects the result product price. Finally,  save everything using the Save button at the bottom of the page and run the synchronization using the button in the Product section.

Suppliers’ Selection

Before you start selling products, you need to set up which suppliers you want to offer products in your webshop from. First, go to the Supplier Settings section in the Products subsection, press the “+” button at the bottom of the page, and then in the open dialog select which suppliers you want to buy from.

Selection of the Specific Categories, Collections, or Products

After adding the supplier in the Supplier Settings section, you still need to specify what assortment you want to offer from that supplier. At first, open the detail of the desired supplier and in the tabs below select how you want to sort his assortment. You can select categories, brands, and their collections, or you can only select or exclude specific products. Do not forger to save everything using the Save button at the bottom of the page and run the synchronization using the button in the Product section.

Missing your Supplier in the TronShop?

In case you do not find some of your business partners in our supplier list, you can use the „Invite“ function by sending an information e-mail and to invite your supplier to participate in our platform. If the supplier then decides to join our TronCloud platform, our team will prepare his data and make him available within your shop.
